End of the 19th Porquerolle's Classic!

A very light breeze accompanied the fleet of classic yachts in front of Porquerolles for this final day of the 19th edition of Porquerolle's Classic. With 5 small knots of wind at the start and numerous windless bubbles on the course, the race committee launched the first start around 11:30 a.m. for the shortest course planned on the program.

A unique spectacle to admire slow-motion maneuvers, or even acrobatic teammates...

With 3 races validated, the winners of this 19th edition of the Porquerolle's Classic are in the three classes Windhover (Marconi Era), Sagittarius (Marconi Classic) and Olympian (Auric Era).

See you in 2023 from June 8 to 11 for the 20th edition.

Two courses in the Bay of Hyères of 15.7 and 10 miles and the Tour de Porquerolles, this 19th edition of the Porquerolle's Classic kept all its promises with great conviviality on land and the quality of the courses offered by the organization at sea .

A short course in the bay Around 11:30 a.m. this Sunday, the 41 classic yachts took the start of the final race of this wonderful weekend. A 10-mile course in the Bay of Hyères. After starting in front of the port of Porquerolles, the classic yachts went to round a first buoy at La Capte before going back up to Cap des Mèdes and crossing the finish line in front of the port of Porquerolles.

The winners of this final race are: Windhover (Marconi Era), Gambare (Marconi Classic) and Corinthian (Auric Era).

At the end of these three days of racing, the big winners of the 19th edition of the Porquerolle's Classic are:

Windhover - Marconi Era By winning two of the three races of the weekend, Windhover won the 19th edition of the Porquerolle's Classic. Jour de Fête and One Wave complete the podium.

Sagittarius - Classic Marconi Sagittarius won the victory in this 19th edition ahead of Arcadia III and Gambare.

Olympian - Epoque Aurique A 100% Class P podium. With each one a victory on the clock, it is Olympian who wins this 19th edition ahead of Chips and Corinthian .
